How to gain coverage under the Affordable Care Act (ACA)

If you do not currently have insurance, but wish to gain coverage, the Insurance Marketplace is the best place to start. Open enrollment for insurance starts November 1st each year and ends on January 31st of the next year (ex. November 1st 2016 to January 31st 2017). If you did not enroll during the standard enrollment period you may qualify for an exemption or late enrollment.
