Alpine Pediatrics offers a comprehensive Behavioral Health Program for patients in need of behavioral health
services. This page is intended to act as a resource for patients involved in the Alpine Pediatrics
Behavioral Health Program.
As of March 1st, 2023 failure to comply with the stated policies may cause dismissal from the Alpine
Pediatrics Behavioral Health Program.
No Show Policy and Fees
Alpine Pediatrics charges a no-show fee for appointments that are not cancelled with at least 24 hours notice. If a patient has two no-shows, all remaining Behavioral Health appointments may be automatically cancelled.
Please be aware, no show fees vary based on the appointment missed.
No show fees for appointments with Dr. Livingstone, Dr. Simpson, or an LCSW:
- Initial Appointment: $262.50
- Follow-up Appointment: $150.00
- Initial Appointment: $210.00
- Follow-up Appointment: $120.00
- Autism Testing: $900.00
Well Care
Alpine Pediatrics requires all patients participating in the Behavioral Health Program to be current on all well visits. To be considered current on a well visit, the patient must have had a well visit with an Alpine Pediatrics Provider within the last 365 days from when the patient will be seen for any type of Behavioral Health appointment. Failure to maintain current well visits may result in all Behavioral Health appointments being automatically cancelled.
Accepted Insurances
Dr. Livingstone and Dr. Simpson are Child Psychologists who provide therapy and cannot see patients with the following insurances for Behavioral Health Therapy: Humana and All Medicaid Plans.
All other Alpine Pediatrics Behavioral Health Therapists cannot see patients with Tricare.
Although we do our best to regularly update this list and keep it comprehensive to the Alpine Pediatrics Behavioral Health Program, it is the responsibility of the patient or caregiver to understand their own insurance benefits. Please check with your insurance to see if an individual therapist is covered.
If you have any questions about insurance coverage for Collaborative Care Management or psychiatry please reach out to your insurance provider.
Whole Person Care
Alpine Pediatrics is a Patient-Centered Medical Home that offers Behavioral Health services to its patients. Because of this, Alpine Pediatrics requires all patients that wish to participate in the Alpine Pediatrics Behavioral Health Program to transition all Primary Care, including well care, to Alpine Pediatrics. This allows Alpine Pediatrics to treat the whole person, not just mental health or physical health care needs.
