Alpine Pediatrics is a recognized Patient Centered Medical Home with a distinction in Behavioral Health. This means Alpine Pediatrics works hard to understand the whole patient. Physical, mental, and emotional health are all cornerstones to care. This focus is maintained in the way the Medical Provider communicates with the Behavioral Health Provider. The Medical and Behavioral Health Providers have full access to the patients’ medical record and collaborate in real time about care to ensure the patients’ needs are being met and the patient can seamlessly transition between both of these care-givers. This means that in order to receive care from Alpine Pediatrics Behavioral Health Providers the patient must have a Primary Care Physician with Alpine Pediatrics and transition all care to Alpine Pediatrics. This allows Alpine Pediatrics the ability to understand and care for the whole patient, not just an isolated diagnosis or problem.
